CLINIC STAFF

Dr. Rodrigue Paulidor

Physician
Dr Rodrigue Paulidor was born in January 1990 at Martel, a small locality in the sixth section of Grande Colline (Grand-Goâve), into a Christian family.

Friend of experimental sciences in 2012, he crossed the barrier of two entities in the mother university of the country (UEH), namely the faculty agronomy and veterinary medicine (FAMV) and the faculty of medicine and the pharmacy (FMP).

To live his dream and that of his deceased grandmother whom he cherished for long time; he, his mother Cleonne Denis and his uncle Roland Denis kept on going with the FMP. It was already for him the beginning of a beautiful adventure. Despite the difficulties he faced, nothing prevented him from knowing the right path.

Graduated in 2019, he headed to the south country for his social service at the Aquin reference community hospital.

After this social service in 2020, he joined the staff Belval health center in Gros Mangles a communal section of Point-à-Raquette (La Gonâve) as clinical doctor.

Knowing the service of his native community was always his desire, he decided to return to his native town to live his dream through the Jean Wilfrid Albert Clinic in Cherident 5th section Grande Colline. He joined our staff in February 2022 and is eager to increase awareness of good health across the region.

Marie
Midwife

Miss Marie joined our team in 2016 as our first midwife. She received her nursing degree and later graduated from the midwifery program through Midwives for Haiti. After graduating she was ready to locate herself amongst a team caring for the rural needs of women in Haiti. Since Marie’s arrival, the clinic has opened its first birth center which provides a haven for safe deliveries within the region.

Marie also oversees the Maternal Healthcare program including matwons who serve as midwives around the moutainside.

Francois
Pharmacist

Since 2006, Francois has served with HHP as the lead pharmacist. He was excited to receive the gift of a mobile clinic because this meant more patients will be served. His next hope for the clinic is a motorcycle. This will serve not only the urgent medical needs, but assist him in his role as pharmacist. He recently shared, “Imagine how simple it would become to reach malnourished children if we could deliver the care to them on moto rather than seeing them walk 3-5 hours at times”.

Florence
Nurse

Miss Florence grew up in the village of Cherident, home of the Jean-Wilfrid Albert Clinic. After attending St. Matthias elementary school, she studied nursing at the University of Technology of Haiti. Her compassion for the people in the community, coupled with the knowledge and skills she gained in the nursing program, made her a natural choice to join the clinic staff in 2016. Florence prides herself in her relationship-based care of both patients and their families. She is very interested in understanding acute and chronic diseases that are found in the pediatric, adolescent and adult patient populations. Daily. Florence brings nursing excellence to her patients.

Marie Yolene Bijoux

Nurse

My name is Marie Yolene Bijoux, and I m from Cavanak 5th section Grande Colline Grand-Goave. I got my nurse qualification at Louis Pasteur Institution to Port-au-Prince. I am very happy to be a part the Jean Wilfrid Albert Clinic staff.

So let me take this occasion to thank HHP and her partners for her good and great job in the health system at Grande Colline Community. We will be always grateful for you.

Valencia Germain

Nurse

Valencia grew up in the town of Jeremie, originally with a training in dentistry. She received her nursing degree from Lumiere University, joining the staff of the Jean-Wilfrid Albert Clinic in October of 2021. Known as an excellent team member, Valencia provides ethical and competent nursing care. “I give autonomy care,” she says, “and with collaboration or under medical ordinance,” she seeks to improve the health of her patients.

Emmanuel
Health Agent

Hello, My name is Emmanuel but many call me Mono. I work in medical administration for Clinic Jean Wilfrid Albert. I really love the clinic and helping the healthcare of the people in the Grad Colline since I joined in 2016. Having grown up in Cherident, I know alot of the people and families of the area well. I always like it when they come to the clinic and I have the chance to greet them and make their day better. I am a leader in the church. I work at the clinic because I believe the health of the people is very important in the development of the region. I am so happy because over the last year we have done so much for many people in our mobile clinic but we still have many sick people who have yet in need of a doctor. We still have to work to help them and not stop. There are more out there who need us to continue in our work

Madame Gracieuse Leandre

Health Agent/Archivist

Marie Gracieuse Leandreis another staff member who grew up in Cherident 5th and therefore is well known and admired by the clinic’s patients.. She joined the Jean Wilfrid Albert Clinic staff in October 2021. Originally a matron, Gracieuse now is one of the first faces patients see when they arrive at the clinic

‘I feel very flattered to be able to serve my community in the clinic’s referral center,” Gracieuse says, “I would like to thank HHP and its supporters,” she adds. “From a health point of view, the work of the clinic is serving a great need,”

KinKin
Building maintenance and security

Although his name is Anous, everyone refers to this helpful and affable man as 'KinKin'. If there is ever a difficult job needing to be done, KinKin will be there. “You will always find me keeping watch over the clinic,” KinKin says, “to make sure everyone has what they need.” These days, with the new clinic under construction nearby, KinKin is often a reliable extra set of hands. KinKin grew up in the village of David, near Cherident, in a family of eight. He knows the region of Grande Colline very well. “Patients who come to the clinic are friends, neighbors, and family of mine. I want you to know how happy I am to work here.”

Wedner
Mobile Clinic Driver and Manager

A reliable driver is essential to the success of the mobile clinic program. Wedner is always aware of his responsibility to drive the doctor, nurse, pharmacist and coordinator to the scheduled stop. But Wedner’s job entails more; while mobile clinic days are predefined, emergencies can occur anytime, day or night. Getting a seriously ill patient to the clinic or the closest hospital requires Wedner to be on call virtually always. “I feel proud when I am driving the mobile clinic because I know I am contributing to the health needs of my people.” He can remember prior to the ambulance seeing patients being carried to the clinic on a door. “We are now here to transport them safely by ambulance, and I am so proud.”
